The Loreley (also written as Lorelei) is a rock on the eastern bank of the Rhine near St. Goarshausen, Germany, which soars some 120 meters above the water line. Der Blick von oben auf die Stadtansichten von Sankt Goarshausen mit der Burg Katz und Sankt Goar mit der Ruine Burg Rheinfels gehört zu den unverwechselbaren Erlebnissen für viele Touristen. Wenige hundert Meter vom Aussichtspunkt entfernt befindet sich die Loreley-Freilichtbühne, wo gelegentlich Großveranstaltungen (z. B. Rockkonzerte) stattfinden.
